because thats exactly what you need. More power. You couldn't even handle your little POS go-kart and up until recently... there was a guard rail on pullen rd to prove it.

it can have all that power.

but how much does it weigh.

dont think this is one of those "super cars"

i mean, 300hp/280tq isnt bad from a v6.

but if it weighs a lot, there is no point.

Just as a comparison, the Audi A4 V6 puts out around 217hp.

Why would a road going luxury car need a limited slip?

Also, M cars do come with them.

I don't see how.

It's a new Hyundai model.

It's rear wheel drive.

It comes in a V6.

The V6 has 300hp.

The base line model starts at $19,900.

it's gonna be a POS no matter what it has in it.

hyundai still hasn't figured out how to make a high quality car yet.

i'd give them a few more years.

i was gonna post this about 10 days ago, but i was like i will let one of y'all find it!

i think it looks very hawt. aggressive and sexy at the same time.

and i think it will closely approach the performance of similarly powered jap and american sports cars.

^^

they have improved tremendously over the past few years. and at least design wise, hyundai and kia are making better looking cars than the majority of jap cars.

^^ This site could do without your dick riding too. Enough people set him straight that he probably got the point. You don't need to come in here with your childish 2 cents tacked on either.

The guy that comes in and starts kicking the dude in the ribs that is already knocked out cold on the ground isn't a badass, he's a bitchmade chump. This is what you are at the moment.

There is also a 100% probability you'll have something to say to this post. You can have the thread, I'm not responding to your immature drivel.

i want, but it's missing a roundel.

im sure it will be torquey and powerful, but all these new asian cars, including new nissan's supercar seem way over designed. keep the lines simple with some subtle front flares. thats all the car needs.

I'm curious and looking forward to it, but I'm expecting it to be heavy. I mean the current Tiburon tips the scales at over 3000lbs already.

And whoever said their quality sucks is an idiot.

And whoever said the Audi A4 has a 200hp V6 is a fucking moron

335i not having LSD isn't remotely laughable. Its a 3500lb car loaded with electrical nannies that will keep the average American driver safe from doing anything stupid. A certain wheel slipping? Traction control (standard on practically every new car built) engages braking and throttle reduction to bring the slippage under control effectively emulating the 'safety' component of having an LSD. No, power won't be transferred to the wheel with traction but thats unnecessary when your primary goal is to prevent someone from losing control, not to increase exit speed. There's not a road in the entire US that you can drive on in a legal manner and truly take advantage of an LSD. Unless you like doing two wheel burnouts in parking lots.

Not ideal for an enthusiast, but then again neither is having a 3500lb car with enough sound deadening to be eligible for THX certification. If you really have a hard on, you buy an M car with an LSD.

Toyota exec calls Hyundai "strong enemy"

Quote :
"You know you've arrived when your competitors not only begin acknowledging that you exist, but actually see you as a threat. Hyundai got to enjoy this distinct pleasure today when Toyota's chairman Fujio Cho told a group of Korean journalists that it was a "strong enemy". Not only has Hyundai completely transformed its image in North America from a slinger of bargain basement econo-boxes to a respected purveyor of reasonably priced, well built automobiles, but it's also going after emerging markets like China, Africa and the Middle East as hard as anyone else. Plus, Toyota has directly felt the sting of Hyundai's success, having been forced to rub elbows with the brand at the top of many recent J.D. Power and Associates reports. Still, calling Hyundai a 'strong enemy' is a bit harsh, no? How about "worthy adversary" or "respected competitor"? Toyota really drives home the point that the business of selling cars is like war and that no 'enemy' should be underestimated. "

that would be me. though i didn't say they "sucked", it isn't up to snuff, like a solid older honda (before they were all made in ohio). have you owned a new/er (long term) hyundai at all? i have. while the parts didn't fall off like a british car, things tended to go bad quite frequently. the warranty matters not when the car spends quite a bit of time at the dealer for repairs, which they decline if you don't maintain the car to the letter stated in the owners manual.

so try not to call someone out on something just for fun.

^ that article is funny. jd power means nothing. they pick out the good comments from people and only use those for their rankings.

I don't know about you, but I've managed to spin my inside wheel plenty of times whilst doing some fairly aggressive apex-strafing on public roads. Mind you, the legality of my speeds was at best questionable and at worst, downright deniable.

^Holy shit...look what the fuck the cat dragged in. With a most valid opinion to boot.

i normally wouldn't like a hyundai (except that dual engine one they had in C&D or MT or whatever won the super car challenge)- but my brother has been stationed over there for several months (and he had the same opinion as me) but he's been turned just by getting to see all the models they have there- he's gonna be going on a tour of the plant soon

The M3 is designed for track behavior.

Here is the Hyundai Genesis... in production trim.

It will have the same hi-power engine as in the new coupe, and perhaps a V8 as well. Wow, it literally looks as if the designer used photoshop to mix together all the popular cars out there, such as BMW 5-Series, Lexus LS, MB S-Class, old Maxima, etc.

The concept was infinitely better.

I'm still standing by the fact that a 300+ hp, twin turbo,45k, two door car deserves an LSD. Does it need one? If you follow that logic nobody would own anything that doenst suck.

Believing that it should have an LSD and finding it laughable that it doesn't are two different things.

One is a rational opinion, the other is a moronic one.

not every performance orientated car that comes off the press needs an LSD. yeah, it would be nice, and it should be an "option"..

but i dont see a 3 series bmw needing one.
if you want lsd, get the X series.

now the 1 series, from what it looks like, they made it for more than driving on the street.
