as the plane increases forward motion, the treadmill moves the opposite direction at the same speed. (same as the last problem)the fan is behind the plane.the huge fan physically moves forward at the same speed as the plane, following it. (it is somehow rigged up to the belt via a pully system so that the fan will always follow the plane.)the fan is geared so that it blows air towards the plane from behind. (blowing wind up the plane's ass.)The speed of the air coming from the fan is the same speed as the plane is travelling. (increases with increasing plane speed.)NOW:HOW MUCH RUNWAY WOULD THE PLANE NEED BEFORE IT TOOK OFF???

assuming a runway on Earth of sufficient length, sufficent power, and an indestructable system (plane, fan, treadmill, etc)...the plane WOULD take off, even if there was a net total airspeed (speed of air relative to plane) of 0 around the plane.

but the fan is creating dead air over and under the wing, unless there's a small pocket of air that is capable of creating lift that when the system gets into really high airspeeds the plane will just rip apart instead of flying
