an axe is a sharp edged weapon sometimes with double sided blades.

I think he was referring to a splitting maul. The term "maul" refers to hammers of some sort. Splitting mauls look like axes except that the back of the blade is rounded and heavy (like a sledge hammer).

generally light beers have less alcohol

ie Bud Light has a lower percentage than Budweiser...Miller Lite a lower % than Miller

cant necessarily say all light beers have less alcohol than all regular/full beers though

Miller Lite has the same alcohol content as MGD or High Life. Miller Lite is also not technically a "light" beer.

I checked a few sites, and the common numbers i am seeing are 4.5% for Miller Lite and 4.6 and 4.7 for MGD and High Life respectively.

so ok... you got me on .1-.2%

No way in hell that either of them are 5% though like your link says.

And Miller Lite is not technically a "light" beer (notice how they spell it differently) because it doesn't fit the qualifications for the label of "light".

It's more of a result of MGD (the reference product) having a low calorie content so Miller Lite can't qualify as "light".
