I'm trying to find a cheap electric guitar that a beginner can play!

Not quite what I had in mind. My friend wants to learn how to play and I don't think he would get the same satisfaction from a video game!

I think you're better off getting a decent priced guitar (around $300), something like a mexican strat. At least you can sell it when you quit playing, unlike those cheap guitars.

^ very true, if you have the money for a good guitar then do that...decent to high quality guitars don't lose value as easy either, so if you do quit, you wont have a problem selling it

I have a mexican strat, a washburn, or a jay turser that I will sell to you. The mexican strat Ill sell for 250 the washburn and jay turser ill let ya have for 150 each.

I own a cheap crappy electric... somebody gave it to me... it's significantly harder to play than a fender... the strings just don't go down as easy is the best way I can describe it...

then again, I could just be an idiot... or both
