is there any program so i can rip an hd dvd to an image and mount it so i don't have to bring the drive with me to watch an hd-dvd on my laptop on a trip?

damn.... i own a dozen hd dvds and it would be nice to play them on the laptop when the xbox player isn't attached

have you tried google.

i know there are at least 5 programs out there that will do that.

i just can't remember the names right now.

Is there away to take your external HD DVD player and hook it up to your TV with out the computer

umm... no

anyway it was something wrong with the disk.. it worked on the 2nd one

yeah it wasn't the pc's fault, it wouldn't play the disk from the hd-dvd drive either on here.
this makes me happy now i can watch them on the train to raleigh.
