i just checked it out on youtube, its pretty funny. those who havent seen it likely arent in the rdu TV commercial market.

turns out ive heard the voice when i listen to the showgram on g105 in the car, but other than that i dont get much exposure to the raleigh market

its commercial stuff for johnson lexus/automotive/kia/blablabla up there

its really good commercial work considering its for a mom and pop kind of place. i know johnson has grown infinitely in the past years, but its still just a central NC car dealership. what would suck is if these commercials are used for different dealers in different parts of the country.

like how JAMES SCOTT FERRIN seemed like he was a badass with his endorsement commercial, and the guy says WE MEAN BUSINESS. then you watch tv in another state, and see that its the same commercial except they just changed the name of the attorney.

that would make it a little less cool, but if a cool concept like that emerged from a small time dealership, thats pretty impressive

HockeyRoman, i'm PRETTY sure that johnson automotive is the umbrella of all the local [raleigh area] johnson dealerships, like johnson lexus. theyve been advertising forever. anyone who is from morehead city area or spent time at atlantic beach has surely seen the huge row of signs they have (had?) on hwy 70 coming back to raleigh. like 8 billboards in a row within a half mile stretch advertising for the same thing.

but they have a lexus dealership up on capital, and i think out at southpoint

Please forgive me Repub18 for the digression but to address jackleg's point I totally failed because I only realized a short time ago that the guy in the JAMES SCOTT FERRIN commercials was the dude from The Magnificent Seven.

Now, I have seen the Johnson Lexus billboards on I-40 (like the two, one right after the other ) but wasn't sure if they were the same dealership.

Yeah, if you half pay attention you'll notice how every time they say something specific (I-40, beltline, etc.) the guy that is doing the talking is always off camera or has his back turned. They just fill in the blank for each area they run the ad.

Did you hear? There was a terrible wreck <camera pans to old lawyer so you can get his reaction> on Western Boulevard.
