I will never understand how pineapple is considered a legitimate pizza topping.
11/3/2007 4:39:09 PM
you can put anything you want on a fucking pizza
11/3/2007 4:42:56 PM
^^it's not, really
11/3/2007 4:54:20 PM
this thread isnt fair...some of us dont like eating veggies
11/3/2007 5:48:48 PM
If you knew what was going on you'd have matched f & 2 and d & 4.Obviously you've never worked at a pizza place.

a4b1c5d6e3f5^ I have and I understand conventionI just have my own preferences[Edited on November 3, 2007 at 7:27 PM. Reason : I typically don't eat the hamburger beef]
11/3/2007 7:26:19 PM
^^I used to work for a "gourmet pizza" place (with like 31 flavors)but I think these 12 toppings are the most common
11/5/2007 9:02:22 AM
When did pineapple become a vegetable?
11/5/2007 9:03:34 AM
g) my penus7) your momg7
11/5/2007 9:03:59 AM
i definitely agree with pepperoni and olive, but to be more specific, pepperoni and green olive
11/5/2007 9:04:06 AM
The following are not vegetables:1) bell pepper (fruit)2) mushroom (fungus)3) olive (fruit)5) pineapple (fruit)6) tomato (fruit)an onion, however, is a vegetable
11/5/2007 9:05:43 AM
called the fuck out
11/5/2007 9:17:48 AM
^^find me an actual menu that calls them fruits and fungusoh right, you can'tnow match them with the meats or GTFO
11/5/2007 9:27:02 AM
^ Do menus call them anything? The only ones I have ever seen just list "toppings," not "meat" and "vegetables."
11/5/2007 9:28:34 AM
11/5/2007 9:39:20 AM
the menu at the place I worked at listed them as "Veggie"which I don't believe referenced the fact that the toppings were all vegetables (they weren't)but did make reference to the fact that they were all vegetarian (i.e. 'veggie')
11/5/2007 9:48:58 AM
plus, any pizza place that has a "veggie" pizza will generally list those toppings as veggies regardless of whether or not they are actually vegetables. in the pizza universe they are veggies.
11/5/2007 10:01:55 AM
it's all contextin this case, menu context where rice, beans, fruits, fungus etc. are all vegetablesnot to be confused with grocery context, where pineapple is fruit, but tomato isn'tlimpy is using the biological contextget matching!
11/5/2007 10:04:36 AM
only bell pepper, onion, and tomato are acceptable veggiesbacon, sausage, and pepperoni are the only acceptable meats on that list
11/5/2007 10:06:19 AM
11/5/2007 10:09:30 AM
I don't think rice can ever be considered a veggie.
11/5/2007 10:11:09 AM

I'm not afraid to say it. A good pizza should be cheese only. MAYBE pepperoni if that's your style. Anything else is to compensate for the shitty sauce/crust...(all opinion btw)
4/15/2008 5:04:09 PM
pineapple and extra cheese ftw

As good as it gets... New Haven style pizza, also called Apizza.Cheese and tomato sauce with a crispy rust. Classic Neapolitan style.Yes, I'm a tool for knowing this much about a style of pizza. New Haven style >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> New York style. This is not an arguable opinion. It is fact.[Edited on April 16, 2008 at 10:40 PM. Reason : on a typical weekday night you'd wait upwards of 2 hours to get that pizza from Pepe's]
4/16/2008 10:39:41 PM
I still have yet to go to that place. And its not even two hours away. I must make this a priority.
