Actually

Despite being more than slightly nerdy, I hadn't seen the original star wars movies til this summer. (Got dragged to episode I in the theatre as part of a "family outing" with the extended family the day it was released; otherwise, I could say 'hadn't seen any').

The reason wasn't because of any desire to avoid them or be 'cool' (me? cool? hahahahahaha), but because I just don't like watching movies.
