Yes. And I'm not the one going for a graduate degree.

It's usually stuff I think is more "common sense". But, according to my roommate is really not.

I was raised in a household with no TV (basically) and were recommended to read. Dad has entire 8' tall bookshelves lined with books he liked. Including the Encyclopedia Britannica (deemed it an investment in our knowledge when we were really young).

Got to throw in moving around the country too. Get to experience new cultures.
