Plantain. That fruit that looks kinda like a banana. I've never heard a single person pronounce it correctly. So let me help you out. The last syllable is pronounced exactly like the last syllable in mountain.

Mêlée. Yes, that's how it's written. And for the 1 in 4 people or so who I hear pronounce it "me" + "Lee":


Ichor. I've admittedly only heard 2 other people say this word aloud and both of them pronounced it incorrectly.
