You have to go over to the actual help desk and show ID to have them reset it if you can't remember what you made it.

you do it once (when you know your password)

if you ever need to reset it, call the help desk, they'll ask you one of the questions you set up. if you answer correctly, they'll reset your password for you over the phone. no physical visits necessary.
