I have a delima...

Does anybody know of any downtown area service stations and what time they open in the morning?

I have a flat... that I just noticed as I pulled in my drive way. All of the places are of course closed now but I am hoping some places open at 6 am.

heeelp!!

not many, mission valley 66 opens around 7, mitch or tommy should be able to take care of it fairly quickly first thing in the morning, but yeah, if you can find the nail, get a plug kit and fix it yourself

well I know it started off as a slow leak but I think it became progressively worse...

my tire went flat a few weeks ago. I was on my way home from work, I stopped, filled it up... and went on my merry way.

I checked my tire every day and it appeared to be fine until tonight. I noticed it when I got home about 45 mins ago. It's completely flat and a plus will probably fix it.

Ideally I would like to take my tire off, go to Wal-mart, and plug it myself. However, my work is not very leniant and I simply don't have the time as it needs to be fixed by 8am ... so taking it to the nearest service station is my next best option.

69, where exactly is the 66 over there?

If it's completely flat, you sure as hell can't drive it over there.

do not plug tire. plugs leave belts broken in tire, no gauranty on repair and more liable to have a blowout

A fucking inside patch does nothing to mend a belt, sir.

The best you can do is to make sure that any pathway for water is sealed so that the belts can't rust and break.

I've run many track events on plugged tires. I've run MANY plugged tires; in fact, it's the only way I have fixed tires for the last 20 years. Oh yeah, I've been driving that long, too.

OMG IT'S A MIRACLE, slowblack96 MADE AN INTELLIGENT POST!

even though it still sounds like he's an ESL student, it's proof there is hope for even the dumbest of internet users.

If the tire is completely flat, do not drive on it as you'll just tear off your sidewall and completely destroy the tire. I would recommend removing the tire, getting a ride to the 66, and getting it plugged.

perhaps you have roadside assistance? or AAA? or coverage like these on your cell phone?

or you know someone with AAA plus? that would even work.

you may have towing on your insurance policy?

if not, get AAA plus. well worth every penny.

^^I got no problem plugging car tires, not even for the track. Patching really isn't that much better.

^you are still an incredibly stupid fuck for riding a bike with plugs in the tires. way more lateral stresses in the critical areas. After reading your posts for several years, I think it's pretty safe to assume you're just an incredibly stupid fuck, period.

The tire plugging scenario for motorcycles is a very different story. Cars tend to stay upright when they lose a tire. Motorcycles don't.

your lack of a brain must have lowered your center of gravity enough to stay upright
