they start off by telling me that my manager told them that they would get x x and x for free, that the other stores told them this and that...but i know its all bullshit so i call them on it. they usually get pissed and leave after an hour or so of haggling getting nowhere, and come back to buy it the next day when they realize its the cheapest theyre going to get it for.

i know its not anger, its frustration, because the cultures are so different.

and im not talking americanized asians, im talking straight out of asia asians

oh yeah, and most true asians want the absolute firmest mattress EVER and they tell me that the firmest we have is still too soft, and i tell them that the only thing harder is my dick

whenever we catch a king or any other large fish on the end of the pier they rush down there and try to buy it from us. they're always trying to haggle over the price and stuff.

^^ Some commercial fishermen who get some big mahi or tuna catches seem to have asian people call up about 10 different brokers or get some sort of stock information before settling on a price to buy the catch for.

where americans view haggling and trying to get favors or special deals as negative, asians view this as just they way they are used to doing business. they catch on as they realize that it dont really work that way in america.

on the flipside though, if you shop at the grand asia market and buy a lot of shit, they hook you up with random free goods at the checkout counter.

I do notice the Asians in my apartment parking lot consistently park like crap. They either are turned crooked like a 1/4 turn, straddle the line over two spaces or park like 6 inches away from your car, so you can't even open your door to get in.
