Can someone give me some info about either of these classes. How much work is required, how difficult is the material, etc. I need to have one more math class to finish my AMA major and am looking at these two.

I'm taking both next semester but if I had to take one I'd take MA 437

No tests, just homework and a final paper. Pretty easy class from what I hear.

im a math minor and stat major and i took ma 410 as a sophomore and found it to be a lot harder than i expected. i have a 4.0 in my major and everything so it isnt like math is hard for me, yet the class seemed to be way harder than it should of been. unless you understand a lot of proof material or like it, id prob stick with 437, but i dont know what that is.

also the teacher for 410 is just weird i guess more than anything, and i never looked forward to going to his class.

i took 437 last spring- if you actually do the work its pretty easy (if you're ok with abstract algebra basics). For the term project tho- make sure you do the paper not the program (the paper is apparantly really easy, but that program kicked my ass)

it's been around three years since I took MA407. Will that make a huge difference or is it a course that I can just go with the flow with and pick it up again easily?
