I don't really get Carolina shagging as much, but that's probably because I learned basic East Coast Swing first (which is usually in 3, not 6). Adding in two triple steps isn't that bad, though, you could learn pretty easily.

I believe somewhere in some obscure part of my parent's storage areas in their house they have an old VHS entitled "Learn to Shag the Carolina Way." I've never, ever watched it or seen anyone do it.
