But, none of the obvious uninstalling/reinstalling/restarting things are fixing it. It continuously detects and keeps installing the "digital camera device" driver..sometimes successfully, sometimes not. Regardless, it never works and keeps installing it.

Any ideas?

Oh, and I'm running vista home premium 32bit

happened on XP too for the guy in the link I posted.. might be a problem of these usb ports not putting out enough power. what a pain in the ass
