never bought anything from them but i plan on doing all the body work on my duster over christmas and i was wondering if they would be up to the task. mainly looking at http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=4196http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Category.taf?CategoryID=323&pricetype=i know these wont last forever but im poor and will only really need them for this one job so its hard to justify the $ for quality stuff right now. They'll last through 1 car right.Any other suggestions on body work tools i might need or where to buy stuff (not ea$tman)

harbor freight is great for limited use stuff like that. i think it's pointless to spend thousands on "quality" equipment unless body work this is something you plan to really get into. i'd say it depends on what all you're doing and how you plan to do it as to exactly what stuff you should buy. i'm guessing since you linked a die grinder, you've got some rust to cut out... are you planning to weld in patch panels, use body filler, fiberglass, or what?a good dolly/block/hammer kit is always nice to have, and i think they have one for cheap. slide hammer would be good too if you've got dents to pull.body stuff is almost an art, and is 90% about skill imo. i've seen guys do amazing stuff with very limited/cheap tools, and i've seen some absolute crap from people with all the top of the line equipment and gadgets.

yea luckily a year or two ago i rebuilt a fourwheeler for a guy that does great body work so i dont have anything major to do. other than the bottoms of the fenders doors which have some pitting its a straight car. probably do both front floor boards as they are thin and have a hole where you gas foot rest. i was planning on a hammer/dolly set for the last few minor dents and maybe a sand blaster to deal with the pitting before filler work. that die grinder would be the best thing for taking front suspension parts to bare metal right.

yeah, a die grinder will work well... especially for getting into smaller spaces/creases of the A arms, torsion bar mounts, etc. 4" angle grinder with a wire wheel works well also for larger surfaces.
