don't get me wrong. i love a pair of blue chucks with shorts, etc. but the difference is with the prada sneakers they are like a full-time thing. you own them. you wear them as far as everyday routine. its a perfectly built sneaker. its fashionable and good for the long-term. the blue chuck i can get maybe 20 wears out them before they get too dirty.

chuck taylors are nice, but i totally smashed a pair climbing up one mountain in a day. yes its not smart to climb mountains in chucks. but the point remains, they're not that durable, and the trail wasnt so hard
