i just came back from denver... we visited the celestial seasonings factory. it's free and a pretty neat tour.we went hiking near vail, and twice in the rocky mountain nat'l park - all are within 1.5 hrs of denverdowntown denver is pretty nice to seehit up Snooze for breakfast if you canclimb or take the train up to pike's peakboulder is maybe 20-30 mins away?

http://www.snoozedenver.com/they have an awesome brunch. check out the menu. and if you like pancakes, you can't go wrong w/ any of the choices - i especially liked the pineapple upside-down pancake my friends got breakfast burritos and they were ginormous. if you go on the weekend, tho, be prepared to wait for a table.
