I'm looking to do some traveling around Europe this summer, but I am somewhat of an unexperienced traveler. Looking to travel for about 3-5 weeks. Trying to hit as many cities and countries as possible: Barcelona, London, Amsterdam, Munich... Does anyone have advice on the best way to go about this trip.

Did 24 days last summer: Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Munich, Mannheim, Paris, Amsterdam, London. Trip was centered on a few friends studying in Mannheim, and we also made a stop in Gelsenkirchen for a World Cup game. We didn't use our Europass till we hit Rome, bought a train ticket from Madrid to Barcelona, then flew to Rome. Took the bullet(?) from Brussels to London. We stayed in a variety of different hostels and hotels (most hotels were as cheap and much better than the hostels).
