i have a geforce mx4000 pci. I'll let you know when I find it, but I don't know if you'd want to trade your 9600 for that.

triple check to make sure you 100% have a pci slot and not a pci-Express slot(have someone do it if your nub)if you do have just a pci slot and your trying to put video in it....buy a new mobo ty tyx5
10/10/2007 4:34:17 PM

Reason : ^^who hasn't been the wolfwebber that hooks dnl up? lol]

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814145087CHAINTECH P-FX20 GeForce FX 5200 256MB 128-bit DDR PCI Video Card - Retailthis is about the best PCI video card you can get - they don't even MAKE pci video cards anymore.this being said, the only PCI video card i still have laying around is a 32mb geforce2.
10/12/2007 12:15:33 PM
thats a pretty good card but newegg had some that were more expensive than that...i figured like going from pci to agp is an upgrade so some wolfwebber would want to tradei heard a 256mb pci is slower than a 128mb agp...wish i had an agp slot
10/12/2007 10:25:21 PM
sell that one to some rube, and get a better computer, or get a different motherboard - if you want, get one that uses pci-e, and ddr2 - i have two sticks of 533mhz 256mb ddr2 you could get...then just get any bargain pci-e video card and you have a $exas computer....spend maybe 180 on mobo and video.

How do you have a new computer and it doesn't at least have an AGP slot? Is that like, new to you, but from 1999?
10/13/2007 12:41:50 PM
nah its from 2005...i think i might just buy some new ecs motherboard that has an agp slot...its like 23.99 on newegg but its sold out
10/13/2007 2:46:47 PM
beware: Dell machines can be difficult to upgrade due to them having proprietary stuff in weird places. If you get a new mobo, you may well end up needing a new power supply as well. Though power supplies are fairly cheap.Just an FYI.

I have him covered on that, if need be - good looking out though ^
