baby back ribs coated in my special dry rub (no it does not involve my semen) and braised in white wine/lime/various spices, cooked slowly

baked potatoes... cooked the correct way (just a little kosher salt, coarse pepper, and some olive oil)

french string beans (blanched string beans, red and yellow peppers, red onion, olive oil to coat)

pictures will follow after it's made

UPDATE:

ribs were a hit with all parties that ate them
my special bbq sauce tasted awesome as did my dry rub, and no you can't have the recipe.

Practically. The house was built in the 1960s, and the only light in the kitchen is what comes through the side door, and from the hall and living room.

i'm just going out and paying someone to make me something tonite

i think i might make some shrimp scampi tomorrow night though, with all sorts of good veggie fixin's

i got my grilling fix in last week with a 2 inch thick steak- that sonbitch took two trips on the grill and was still purple almost all the way thru
