Can I put a formula into a cell that makes a bunch of cells change color without using VBA? I'm leaning towards no but I'm not positive.

You can set up cells to change colors when they fit certain parameters. For instance if you had a spreasheet of rainfall events, you could set it up so that all events over 1 inch could be shaded green and all events less that .25 inch could be red.

Not sure if that helps...

Condition Formatting, especially if you use the "Formula" option, is very powerful
