I think they need bigger pipes, not a new router ...reliability 255/255, txload 239/255, rxload 106/255You are flat out killing that link, thus all the errors and such. Get them a better uplink and they should be fine... If that is what you were talking about needing to tell them to upgrade, then right on.[Edited on September 28, 2007 at 11:39 PM. Reason : .]

if they are anything like most customers. they wont give a damn and just keep calling support to report an outage. You'll keep telling them they are over taxing their bandwidth and the links are full but the usage will drop for a few and they will thank you for fixing it. A few days later they will kill it again and call again and completely ignore your pleas for them to upgrade.

whats the max concurrent calls on this 768k?
9/29/2007 12:08:50 PM
i'm not sure what its set up for, but its using a fxo hunt group and not a PRI. the max calls could only be 24 to the PSTN. internally or site to site i don't believe there is a limit.

i only make recommendations for this location. i'm consulting. but i just deployed like 200 phones here and calls are dropping. so it makes my work look bad.i'm upgrading the callmanager servers now and i should be good to leave.
