You can buy this television refurbished (aka warranty etc) for $439

$400 is overpriced for a used item that has unknown amounts of either dropping, wear/tear, and who knows how many power-on hours

thats true, then you can spend another $120 on the wall mount. Dont want it, dont buy it. I can promise you there is absolutely no wear on the tv and it has never been dropped. it has been hanging on that wall since the day i bought it. $400 is a fair price.

wear as in physical wear on the tv... no scratches, dents, marks...

the point was that it is unknown how many hours YOUR tv has been on... not the avg. lifespan of the screen.
