lock it after i get answered oki didnt think about byes. how does that work in ESPNs? i only have one defense, what happens when they have a bye week? do i have to pick a shitty one thats left or does it use an average or what

pick up one off waivers that week...you'll be able to find a serviceable defense based on what average defense is playing a shitty teambtw this is pretty much the fantasy football thread everybody uses \message_topic.aspx?topic=481039ask as many questions as you want in there[Edited on September 26, 2007 at 11:33 PM. Don't drop a good player just to pick up a defense for one week though. It won't be worth it in the long run. But if you have a guy that you probably won't play anyway (like a Greg Jennings type guy), then drop him because you can find someone similar back on waivers after the Bye week has passed.

just drop your worst bench player for that week...its kind of a good idea to have one player like that anyway in case you only have 1 tight end, 1 defense, etc...for example if i had peyton manning, i would play him every single week...i wouldnt need to keep a backup all season if i'm only playing him on peyton's bye week...just drop your worst player for that one week and pick up the best available QB matchup...same thing if you have Antonio Gates, any kicker in the league, Baltimore defense, etc

^^ and ^ are true if you are in a retarded league where defense isnt worth shit... but if you are in a good, realistic league, definitely pick one up

the better question would be who is his one defenseif its Baltimore or Chicago or New England or somebody my answer would be applicable...if its Detroit then Houston we have a problem

the thing i like to have at all times is a position available just for bye weeks.it's essentially a throwaway pick in the draft, because i know i'll be dropping and changing it a lot.that will cover any position that might have a bye.

I had a post, but actually, the best way to sum it up is that Baltimore is the 19th best D so far in Jaybee1200's league[Edited on September 27, 2007 at 3:05 PM. Reason : d]

^ yeah and LT is the 20th worst RB or whatever. That doesn't mean you're going to bench them unless they're on a bye.
