looks like this hasn't been mentioned yet, but Amazon announced their own online MP3 store yesterday, selling only completely DRM-free music. if there ever was an "iTunes Killer", which is usually just marketing bullshit and doesn't apply, this is it. Simply because of the ease of use of iTunes and the momentum it has, Amazon isn't likely to cut too much into the iTunes marketshare just yet, but look for it to leapfrog all other mp3 sellers very quickly. Even all the Mac/Apple fanboy and enthusiast websites are nearly entirely positive about it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/dmusic/help/faq.html/ref=sv_dm_hp_nav_lk_0/102-3534322-8332108http://www.tuaw.com/2007/09/25/amazon-mp3-a-quick-review/http://daringfireball.net/2007/09/more_amazon_mp3_storehttp://daringfireball.net/2007/09/amazon_mp3_downloaderhttp://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070925-amazon-launches-public-beta-of-mp3-music-store.htmlhttp://theappleblog.com/2007/09/25/amazon-mp3-look-out-itunes/http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/technology/AP-Amazon-Music-Store.html

coolness...though the one-time download stipulation (while it makes sense to me) will be a point of contest, i thinkmaybe not
