Looking for LCD monitor recommendations. I am caught up in the classic 1 big monitor versus 2 small monitor debate. The Dell 24 inch ultrasharp ($600) seems to be getting good reviews.Does anyone have compelling recommendations for competing large monitors or dual monitor setups?I would mostly be using this for movies. I find 23 inch to be a good minimum size for a monitor.[Edited on September 20, 2007 at 10:57 PM. Reason : Also, Samsung SyncMaster 245BW looks interesting.]

I had the samsung 226bw (sold it because i needed cash) and really liked it. If I had the extra cash I would pick another one up. Don't know how all of the specs compare between the 24 and 22", but if they're the same or very close it's a good screen. The unity lab in dh hill uses the 19" (906bw).

^^ There are actually 3 panels. There is a way to tell which you have though. When i find it I will post a link to an article explaining how to find which panel it is and the differences, and I believe how to adjust each for the best picture.http://www.behardware.com/articles/667-1/samsung-226bw-a-and-s-series-the-verdict.htmlthe one I had was an S series, and like I said... if I didn't have other financial obligations I would go buy one right now.[Edited on September 22, 2007 at 4:27 PM.
