http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4vKs4pGsnMComes out end of this year, stars Michael Cera and Jason Bateman. Ellen Page (Hard Candy) also stars in the titular role. Looks like it could have a lot of potential.

Looks great. I love everyone involved... except Jennifer Gardner. What's she doing there?

10/15/2007 12:12:48 AM
We've got some trailers attached to the newer movies we've gotten (as well as Darjeeling Limited), and I think right now there's a tentative date of 12/28 at the Galaxy. I'm really looking forward to this.
11/21/2007 2:25:26 AM
yes, i saw the preview for it before the dar...limited. im sure i wont be disappointed.
11/21/2007 1:17:09 PM
Trailer looks great. Bateman and Cera back again
11/21/2007 1:21:09 PM
Galaxy should be getting this on Christmas.I hope Ellen Page doesn't cut off anybody's penis.
11/22/2007 11:13:49 AM
Don't jinx it.
11/22/2007 12:25:05 PM
Ha, looks pretty funny. It reminds me of the movie with Bill Murray where he gets a letter and things he has a child somewhere.[Edited on November 22, 2007 at 12:48 PM. Reason : ]
11/22/2007 12:44:40 PM
^broken flowersthis movie seems to be more centered around comedy than broken flowers
11/22/2007 1:11:16 PM
It reminds more of Saved!, minus the Jesus. But what I'm nerding out most about it is Kimya Dawson all up in the soundtrack. I read that Cera and Page even play a Moldy Peaches song to each other in the movie.
11/22/2007 1:17:16 PM
^ Anyone Else But You is in the trailer, so I assume it will be in the movie as well.
11/22/2007 4:53:40 PM
i thought this thread was going to talk about that shitty ISP from the 90s
11/22/2007 7:48:28 PM
bttt
12/3/2007 7:30:41 PM
Looks like the movie has absolutely no CGI. No chance in hell it turns out to be good.
12/14/2007 9:05:39 PM

I saw it tonight and thought it was a fantastic movie. I got kinda emotional during some parts and didn't expect the twist.I fucking LOVED the soundtrack.
12/20/2007 9:54:36 PM
if you like the soundtrackhxxp://www.mediafire.com/?092nd3mn5mublaw
12/20/2007 10:13:58 PM
thxu I have most of the songs anyways, and would get kinda excited whenever I heard one of them
12/20/2007 10:50:32 PM
federal and screentest are watching it right now. I told my girlfriend I would wait to see it with her when she gets back from Cali so I'm slightly sad.
12/20/2007 11:07:29 PM
really couldn't care any less about this movie
12/20/2007 11:14:02 PM
I liked it a lot, but need some more time to reflect on it. During the drive home I probably thought a million different things. Hopefully I'll have formed an opinion by tomorrow.
12/21/2007 1:08:02 AM
I saw this wonderful little film. I enjoyed it very much. I thought at first the dialogue was gonna be way over the top but it wasnt that bad. One phrase I hated was "Honest to blog" I mean who says that... COME ON!I'm not sure if this was an AD reference but they def dropped Pop-pop
12/26/2007 9:04:06 PM
my gf is going bananas about this movie
12/26/2007 9:28:31 PM
came out on Christmas in Madison (and likely most other places)...i'll probably see it this week
12/26/2007 10:08:47 PM
12/26/2007 10:23:12 PM
i dont know the context but "honest to blog" sounds pretty hilarity to me
12/26/2007 10:29:41 PM
What does that mean?<getting old> kids these days...</getting old>
12/26/2007 10:36:36 PM
Ah damn, the closest theaters to Greensboro that are playing Juno right now are Chapel Hill and Durham. >.<
12/26/2007 11:13:28 PM
i saw this movie. it was pretty average. eight tenths of the audience was barely legal chicks and this made me feel dirty.
12/28/2007 3:14:08 AM
havent even heard of this movie...saw it posted in a thread earlier today...can someone post a synopsis?
12/28/2007 3:20:26 AM
we're finally going to see it tonightcant fucking wait
12/28/2007 4:47:10 PM
12/28/2007 4:49:38 PM
i really enjoyed it. at parts it was maybe a little too trendy. but that's not a big criticism of a movie.
12/28/2007 4:50:38 PM
I hope that most of the audience is barely legal when I go to see it.
12/28/2007 9:09:00 PM
^ At least half of it will be, judging by the people who came to see it tonight.
12/28/2007 11:22:49 PM
i really, really enjoyed itBUTi totally agree with:
12/29/2007 1:17:50 AM
this sends all the wrong messges to young girls.
12/29/2007 2:17:20 AM
the message of "this soundtrack is good"i thought it was pretty good, but the soundtrack blew ass in parts to the point of irritating
12/29/2007 10:14:28 AM
i should've saw this instead of no country for old men
12/29/2007 11:51:44 AM
i have been meaning to see this but havent gotten around to it... i'll put in my .02 when i can
12/29/2007 4:31:07 PM
it wasn't great, but i enjoyed it enough.
12/30/2007 6:02:27 PM
it was knocked up meets napoleon dynamite meets thank you for smokingit was good, but not as good as i was expecting/hoping
12/30/2007 11:44:42 PM
I just realized that ellen page was legal. That kind of takes the shine off the movie. Also, I'm old as fuck....
12/31/2007 12:15:00 AM
It was decent, but nothing to flip over. I agree with the Napoleon Dynamite comment. Too many lines trying too hard to be quotable catch phrases. Also, the name dropping for the sake of name dropping got on my nerves. And is Sonic Youth the new "hey I know stuff about real music" name drop of the year for indie kids? Also, am I the only person that finds Ellen Page to be a horrible actress?
