chocolate lab

I wanna either name him something that has a nautical, ocean flavor... like "Buffett" or "Hatteras", but I don't want a long name... it's much easier to give commands with a short name

or something NCSU-like... something like "Rivers"

tww... help me decide!

Finley or Cabela, which is absolutely nothing nautical, but a really cool hunting magazine.

Bragaw...but seriously, make sure you have a lot of patience and time to devote to your dog. Mine is a puppy and she is nothing but a terror that destroys everything with or without poop!!!

Chuckles - my dog was named chuck. chuckles was his nickname.

you could train him to drop the ball and call him T.A.

Scuttlebutt – A barrel with a hole in used to hold water that sailors would drink from.

The lady across the hall told me today that she might kill herself tonight and asked if I'd take her dogs if she did. So I went to the bar, and am on the blackberry wasting time

I saw her crying this afternoon when I came home from work. We sat on the stoop and smoked and she told me about all her problems for a few hours. She then left and made a spare key and put it under my door such that if needed I could get her pups.

Sad story.

I'm such an ass that I left due to the fact that if she does it while I'm there itd big me out for life.

My first dog was a Black lab, her name was Hatteras, but we called her Hattie for short. I miss her, she passed while I was in 6th grade.

is it true that chocolate Labs cannot stand heat as well as black labs or yellow labs?

a friend of mine in Georgia wanted a chocolate, but he said the further south you go, the more skin problems the chocolates have with heat and such

I have no idea

but I would think that with me moving to Belize(supposed to be Panama, but that was sold and Belize is the spot now), it would be much too hot if there is an issue

they're the weakest of the breed for sure
they also have a higher chance of allergies and other problems.

seriously... i don't mean to be a hippy douche but if you spend time at the spca (stop in once a week or so) you can find a dog purebred or mutt that you'll like a lot i promise i found 6 and since i didn't really know i wanted a dog then (volunteering to get my dog fix rather then own one) 5 of them were picked up before i decided i wanted them.

I have a friend with an adopted german short haired pointer that is hunting trained.
(keep in mind training will cost $texas too)
His dog actually has papers too and if offspring of the one that one the ukc thing a few years back.
but yeah i think his parents spent more training his dog then he spends on his mortgage
