I'm spending quite a lot of money on a new system and I'm nearing completion. Just wanted to go ahead and get rid of my current rig before finishing up the new one. Specifications:AMD64 Athlon 3000+1 Gb RAMATI Radeon 9550 256Mb80Gb Hard Drive (with Windows XP Professional)*BRAND NEW* CD-R/RW Burner with DVD Playback (basically... burns cdr/w, plays dvd)On a side note, the case is a custom built case out of wood. I built the case this summer and it is unfinished (there is no side panel). I would be happy to include a new case with a slight increase in price being that I'd have to order the case special. However, there is *nothing* wrong with the case it's in and the computer is perfectly fine running in a wood case.I'm asking $400.00 without a new case, $450.00 with a new case. Price is negotiable, however highest offer will decide the new owner. All offers can be emailed to <mdwheele@ncsu.edu>Thanks![Edited on September 4, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Reason : Negotiability of Price]

As I stated before, price is very negotiable... As I am new to the retail computing market... having never sold a computer... I would not know what the best price for a PC would be now would I? 200-300 is a very acceptable range for a decently spec'd computer with a working copy of XP (a 120 value alone)btw: stop trolling, like you have anything better do... how bout getting out of college? ITT we discuss serious offers for a computer...[Edited on September 4, 2007 at 10:32 AM. Reason : trollz]ps: sure you can build a piece of shit on newegg for about the same or lower price... but when you throw together bullshit memory, bullshit mobo, bullshit video card for like 200 bux... guess what you get... bullshit.[Edited on September 4, 2007 at 10:34 AM. Reason : again...]And sorry for wrong section, I'll move it... first time poster on TWW[Edited on September 4, 2007 at 10:35 AM. Reason : edits... aren't they great]

ok chief, since you wanted to try and step up to the mic, here's a non-bargin bin version of your computerMotherboard: $73http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131042CPU: $66http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103029RAM: $70http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148129HDD: $42http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148236Video Card: $40http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102484CD-DVD Burner (better than your CD only burner): $28http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106050Case w/ 350W power supply: $30http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148236So that's $350 bucks to have everything brand spanking new. Includes quality brands like ASUS, Lite-On, Sapphire, Crucial, and Seagate. Now, you're offering a computer that has been used for who knows how long, a crappier optical drive, and you're going to actually try and come off like you're the toughnuts? What are the brands on all of your crap...Hell, you could even spend another $50 bucks on the case and get something much nicer for the same as your asking price.[Edited on September 4, 2007 at 3:15 PM.
