Why does the hover text get truncated when I use Firefox to view xkcd.com?

The page source has the correct IMG tag and title attribute set. IE shows the full title attribute string when you hover over the image, but not Firefox.

Any idea how to tweak Firefox to fix that and display the full text string?

well that seems like a cool utility but i don't see how it makes it so that middle clicking opens a new tab in the background like it used to

The default setting (I think) for it is middle-click opens a new Tab ... however run through the options, there's lots, and it's so nice for links and tabs to work how you want them.
