increase air flow in the case, seriously, there's nothing better than stock right now for 8800

^^How hot is it running? My evga KO 8800gtx runs really really hot. I was worried about it, but then found out they all do.

i believe the thermal design exceeds 100C because i have seen a post in another forum that reads:The advice I have from one of the "manufacturers" is that temps between 85-95 under load...In general, the idle temperature of 8800GTX is around 60-70 degree Celsius and the full load temperature is around 85-95 degree CelsiusSince the temperature is high, it is suggested that the ventilation in the case should be good, at least a case fan should be installed. When I overclock my GTX i dont gain that much in terms of frame rates. I believe its getting hot (~83c) and may be throttling the gpu.

stock it idles at 66underload (bioshock most recently) it jumps to high 76-77however using rivatuner and pumping the fan up to 100% (because the auto fan doesnt kick in till 85 i think) it will drop it to 72 or so.i just wanted to know if there was a better solution, to make the over all case cooler (and my desk area)but prospero nailed it when he said nothing better then stock.. tyx5 budi guess now i wait for nvidia to release a better nforce or ntune to actually allow fan controle on this things...or i learn how to edit rivatuners registry to have the auto fan have different trigger temps

Which specific evga did you get?

^^ Those temps are practically icy for a modern GPU. They're fine. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

Has anyone seen any reviews for the Thermalright HR-03 PLUS VGA Card Cooler (nVidia 8800 Series)? It seems like it should work better than stock but im not sure how much better...and for another $55 + shipping I would hope temps wouldnt get into the 70's under load in stock form.
