I've searched and couldn't find too much relevant to my situation. I want to get an MP3 player that is Ipod ready (to replace my factory in dash cd player), I don't need the swimming dolphins, just something that is reliable (suggestions?), I also have subs and an amp I would like put in, but I have already purchased those. I've also been to a few audio places around here and they all say it's murder to do work on an Audi, and that the dash kit has to be special ordered. I'm also wondering if you can get Ipod cables for the mp3 player any less expensive than audio stores, or does each mp3 player have a different Ipod cable (this could be a dumb question, I'm not sure), thanks in advance

wtf?? your qeustion i really confusing. mp3 player that is ipod ready????huh by mp3 player do you mean a headunit? you should clear up your question a bit then mayb ewe can help

check out enfig.com
They will have an adaptor you can plug into your stock HU that will allow Ipod use.
Subs can be installed with a Line Out Convertor.

That would be the cheapest way, unless you just want a new HU.
