I have a 03 mustang coupe and I want mirror tint for it, something grey that matches the color hopefully. I also might be interested in redoing the sound system. It has a factory MACH 500 sound system and I don't want to replace the head unit just some speakers. I know the front doors take 6x8's and the back is 6x9's. I'd like to hear some options on replacing these 4, and maybe adding subs in the trunk (if they will work with the head unit). The only reason why I don't want to replace the head is because it’s a double sized head (guess that’s what you call it) where its one unit about 6 inches tall. Also it has a built in 6 cd changer which is nice so unless I can get a built in changers with mp3 playback im not interested. As for the tint, I want it done professionally with a heat gun and everything.

Any ideas on where or who can do all of this for a decent price?
And also any ideas on what a decent price is for the tint?

your profile says your name is dusty - that doesn't sound hispanic so why do you want mirror tint

be sure to see if they have any green spray paint for the sideview mirrors

pete @ tvpauto for the tint (do a search on here for tint) but i hope he convinces you to not do mirror tint

as far as the stereo- hooking up subs is easy with a line level converter or an amp with line level inputs on those (well, at least the mach 460, i assume the 500 is similar)

I know how to run the speakers and cables and such, i just want it to be custom installed into the walls of the trunk. As for the main 4 speakers, I was wondering if someone could get these for me at a decent price. As for the tint, I was just wondering if anyone on here installs tint and has the tools to do it.

just as a side note if you care, mirror tint is illegal in nc, so if thats a concern make sure you find yourself a nice shady inspection shop...
