did a google search but didn't find anything conclusive, any open source Flash tools out there anybody has any experience with?

not open source, but I used an app called Swish a while back to do some non-complex Flash animations.

Anyone know why watching a video clip in Flash makes my computer sound like a jet engine taking off?
