Come on people, didnt you all know that Omarbadu is better than all of us?

With a degree in English and Education wouldn't teaching be an obvious first choice?I'm going to echo Omarbadu. I know plenty of graduates in these fields (Psy especially) and any of them making "good money" went to grad school, law school, or medical school.

My sister majored in English and Psychology (ultimately did go to grad school, but that's beside the point). Besides going through the usual university sources such as epack, career fairs, etc. I'd try putting yourself on Monster.com and those sites. That's how she got her job. I'd imagine searching for a job with those majors opens you up to a much broader job market than something technical like engineering.

yea there are tons of positions where the jobs are based more on the person than any background. i dont even remember what my aunt's degree was in now. might have been english im not sure. but it had nothing to do with what she does at her job. And shes been at GE for 20 years and has 30,000 people under her now all because she had a good interview.

We're hiring bartenders and waitstaff at Brasa Steakhouse in Brier Creek. http://www.brasasteakhouse.com As far as I know the servers make really good money. Stop in and apply or email me your resume and I'll send it to the right person. The best time to stop in is between 3 and 5 in order to speak with a manager. My email is rbazoo@gmail.com
