I never liked their interior, but Nissan's are pretty solid on the whole

i've got a 2001 5-speed se v6 xterra. they are known for cracking exhaust manifolds and there's a recall on the power window regulators.

other than that, no complaints. keep in mind that the first xterras were marketed as "everything you need, nothing you don't". it delivers in all cases.

I think every goddam V6-powered Nissan truck since the birth of the D21 Hardbody in mid-'86 has suffered from these two maladies. It really sucks when they shear an exhaust stud.
