WTF... Duke got a vote?
8/3/2007 5:38:06 PM
fucking dukies own the media! >.<
8/3/2007 5:41:23 PM
That one vote is Steve Spurrier making fun of how ridiculous pre-season rankings are. I mean come on, they're never right. And instead of picking a school like Vanderbilt, or even his own school, he picks Duke because he used to coach there. Every year. Stop being surprised, this is not new information.
8/3/2007 6:12:58 PM
its probably more that 20-25 change each week, so it doesn't matter who he picks for 25
8/3/2007 7:33:47 PM
^^ nice repost, and fwiw it's inconsistent w/ what spurrier himself says about it.
8/3/2007 8:01:34 PM
the first place votes are rather intriguing
8/3/2007 11:40:00 PM
I don't buy UCLA at 17...I know they beat USC but they are not that good. They don't have the talent to compete with Oregon, USC, Cal and the two Arizonas do they?

8/4/2007 12:48:22 AM
SEC bitches
8/4/2007 1:34:10 AM
UF lost a lot of good players (particularly defenders) so ill be interested to see how it goes. the harvin, tebow run game should be fun though.
8/4/2007 12:01:34 PM
the Pac-10 is USC and then a bunch of garbagecowherd was saying something the other week about looking at the top 25 recruits every year for each conference...he said in the pac-10, usc gets probably 20 or 21 of their top 25 recruits for the conference...he said in the big 10 ohio state and michigan each probably get about 10 of the recruits...and he said in the sec, damn near everybody gets 2-3...which is why the SEC is the best...even though they are kind of homo]
8/4/2007 1:12:04 PM
Only 2 ACC schools in the top 25. Pathetic.
8/4/2007 1:14:30 PM
imo, the sec is always underrated b/c people are careful not to overrate them. you always think that they can't be as good as they seem, but they really are.
8/4/2007 1:15:32 PM
michigan is underrated
8/4/2007 1:50:36 PM
I don't think Notre Dame belongs in the top 30.
8/4/2007 5:58:17 PM
michigan is overrated, like they are in every preseason pollthey wont win in madison
8/4/2007 11:32:19 PM
I still can't get over how Duke got a voteI want to meet the guy who voted for them and laugh at himseriously though....how in the hell can someone give Duke a vote
8/4/2007 11:36:26 PM
i dont know who's serious and who's not but spurrier votes for duke every yearwelcome to like 30 years ago
8/4/2007 11:41:29 PM
If I ever get a vote, I'm putting Louisiana-Lafayette #1 in my preseason poll.
8/4/2007 11:51:41 PM
^^^ Then laugh at the old ball coach's face. That one issue has been discussed like 5 million times on TWW.And Brass Monkey Arizona actually has a pretty good team this year and are getting better each year under young Stoops.
