Probably going to look at a used mazda 3 in a day or so and just wondering what kind of things I should be looking for. Didn't know if any of you guys were familiar with this particular car.

like with all cars. make sure you know what has been maintained and what hasnt. get reciepts and proof.

how many miles and what year?

it's an 04 with 46xxx miles. Only had 2 owners according to carfax. This is still in the very early stages.

run like hell, 03-04's have a rediculous amount of problems


my friend had an '04 went through 3 cv axles, 2 alternators, a power steering pump and 3 master cylinders in 2 years, it was in the shop more than he dorve it, and they have a rediculous amount of tsb's and unpublished recalls out on them

i take that back...one owner, read the carfax wrong. the other was the auction sale to the dealer

yeah, looking at it now with the financing options avail. on this particular car, it would be just as cheap to buy it new.
