I have a DI-524 Link Router with 3 computers connected to it, 1 connected wirelessly. All of the computers run Windows XP

Recently, the router has required constant rebooting because it has gone down frequently with no explanation. So today, I decided to disconnect two of computers from it, leaving 1 computer connected by cat5 cable and one on wireless. The network has been up for awhile now with no problems. The two computers I disconnected belong to the roommate who pretty much download torrents 24/7. Now he hasn't been downloading within the past couple days, so I know he hasn't just been hogging bandwidth today and that was the problem.

Is there something with his computer that might be the problem? Thanks!

i'm guessing its the guy downloading torrents all the time

tell him the RIAA or MPAA sent him a letter and he owes you 3000 dollars...say it as serious and with as much emotion as you can and see how he reacts
