I was starting to think the N&O wasn't going to report this one. The house he is renting was issued a warning for violating the water conservation regulations just like Sidney was. At the time the N&O did not report this one.I was starting to think that the N&O was truely biased towards the locals. No one would think that now would they.

Pack fans are never happier than when there is a perceived "conspiracy."

^^when that public figure threatens to raise the program that you worked so hard to discredit and ultimately destroy during the JimmyV years, then yes.... they care...[Edited on July 23, 2007 at 11:24 AM. Reason : ^]

I don't know about "happy" now....but when the media repeatedly misrepresents one party while exonerating the other, its kinda hard to not take notice.... "conspiracy" is taking it a bit too far.... its only human for writers and editors to favor their alma mater and denounce their rivals. How many bigtime writers/editors do you think we put into local media orgs anyways? its only human, but they need to know that we will keep them closely in check...

I just don't see how Michael Jordan can continue to have him associated with the Bobcats organization after these egregious infractions.

when they matched the name of the addresses of those that had been giving warnings, Ford's name did not come up because he was not the owner of the property. Sidney's name came because he owns his property. Ford is renting the property where he was illegally watering his lawn. That's why his name did not come up initially. Someone must have tipped the N&O off about him renting the property or someone within CORPUD spilled the beans.

id like to drop a deuce on phil ford's lawn.... and then write "fuck the N&O" in bleach above it so they cant help but remember it....[Edited on July 23, 2007 at 1:57 PM. Reason : bleach.... natures permanent lawn marker!]

no our grass doesnt die, it may start to look bad (it hasnt in a long time) but who cares?ive been cutting grass since i was 11 and worked at a golf course for over a year mowing the grassplaces like golf courses need water, the grass is much shorter and delicate in spot (greens and tees) but the course i worked at didn water much if any of the fairwayall the yards I cut when i was younger were never watered and never died (plus we dont have winter grass)

well if you have a place with a clay underlay...drainage problemsthere are numerous reasons why you need to water lawnsif you worked at a golf course and didnt learn that stuff, you prolly wont do well in real life experiences on jobs and stuffits all in the land and in the type of grass and the area that someone lives in.
