if you guys could put together a conference of the 12 most competitive college football programs, and have it based on growth of the football program, low percentage of NCAA violations, high percentage of competitive recruits, the team can be from DI, DII or DIII. Geography has no basis in your conference picks, ...Im just interested to see what 12 teams you guys would choose for your conference...oh and by the way, atleast one of your teams has to be a VERY SOLID D1AA school ot powerhouse DII squad... My 12 most competitive college football team conference would be: 1)Virginia Tech 7) Univ. of Florida 2) Southern Missisippi 8) Boston College Univ. 3) Grand Valley State University 9)Texas Christian University 4) University of Southern California 10) Univ. of Nebraska 5) Michigan 11) Univ. of North Alabama 6) Boise State University 12). Florida State University ....these are my picks based on consistency of programs, solid coaches, and programs that when you play them are ALWAYS going to get everyone's best shot b/c of their name, championships, etc.these are mine..whats yours??

The last thing you'd want if you're building a competitive conference is a I-AA team. Even the I-AA national champion couldn't beat us, and we suck.

any 12 teams where an undefeated season never happens or happens rarely (once in 20-30 years)games are always a toss up because there is equal talent distributed throughoutthat would be competitive and exciting for fans
7/19/2007 9:14:57 PM
I was going to put Auburn-but I think theyve had a crap load of scandal and NCA fraction stuff over teh last decade so I kept them off....I really wanted ot put down UNiv. of Oregon..but it seems as they make it to solid bowl games and then choke everytime....
