I didn't look through the list but if the episodes "Stage 5" or "Second Coming" of The Sopranos are nominated for anything they need the award. Two of the best episodes of the series.

Lost should definitely have been nominated. This season was way better than heroes, greys anatomy, boston legal, and house... all of those will lose to the sopranos so i guess it's a pointless argument.

Dexter should be nominated as well, and Michael C. Hall should be nominated for outstanding actor. Did he ever win/get nominated for playing David Fisher in SFU?

That shitty middle part of the season torpedoed Battlestar.

[Edited on July 19, 2007 at 10:35 PM. Reason : Only the first episodes got nominated for anything.]

Outstanding Drama Series: Grey's Anatomy and Boston Legal?! Really?! Greys Anatomy should be renamed "What Not to Do with a Drama Series" and even though I like Boston Legal, I realize its hardly "outstanding". Where the hell is Lost and BSG?

Lorraine Bracco for The Sopranos? She was hardly on this season...probably could have shot all of her stuff in a day.

Quote :
"That shitty middle part of the season torpedoed Battlestar."

The nominations are based on ONE episode that is submitted by each show (one episode per nomination sought). Given that, theres no reason this show isnt up for Outstanding Drama and Edward James Olmos isnt up for Outstanding Actor, other than that the Emmys are really little more than a popularity contest.

Things I do like:
Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven for Entourage, Rainn Wilson and Jenna Fisher for The Office, Neil Patrick Harris for How I Met Your Mother, Masi Oka for Heroes.

choosing shows based on one show is stupid in my opinion. That's like choosing the oscars based on the ending only.
