I'm not talking about major major celebrities here, but I'd love to write to certain directors just to see if I get a response. For example, for most celebrities on IMDB you have to have IMDBPro to be able to see the "contact information" tab. That's about all I've gotten so far.And if you write to one of them thru a talent agency, does this mean that the agency opens and previews the letter before forwarding it to the celebrity?[Edited on July 18, 2007 at 11:23 PM. i can't tell if you are legitimately serious - if you were able to get an email address do you think they would answer - if you were able to get the email address then think about how many other people could and then the flood

I am serious about wanting to write to them. I figure less "uber famous" directors like Darron Aronofsky or John Cameron Mitchell who stay out of the public eye mostly probably get little if no fan mail so it wouldn't be a big issue.

you don't figure that the ones that stay out of the public eye - do so to avoid something like this happening

Through their agency seems to work. I've written a few authors, care of the editor listed, and gotten a couple of replies. Granted, that's on a wholly different level
