^^ Ang Lee's biggest dip was between The Ice Storm and Ride with the Devil
7/17/2007 12:15:19 AM

Guy Ritchie - Snatch followed by Revolver

One small dip was Chris Columbus going from Home Alone to Only The Lonely. But then of course he bounced back with Ms Doubtfire, Home Alone 2, and later the first two Harry Potter movies.I would also call pretty much Tony Scott's entire run after Spy Game. The cuts and zooms in Man on Fire pretty much ruined it for me.
7/17/2007 9:28:14 AM
Michael Bay - Transformers followed by any other movie directed by Michael Bay
7/17/2007 11:05:23 AM
Doug Liman - Bourne Identity to Mr. and Mrs. Smith
7/17/2007 11:10:49 AM
I'm gonna throw Tarantino on the list and say Pulp Fiction to Jackie Brown.
7/17/2007 11:13:27 AM
Paul Thomas Anderson - Boogie Nights to Magnolia.

no fucking way. Boogie Nights is one of the best movies ever. I could watch it every day
7/17/2007 12:18:02 PM
^^ If it is, it's only because he stole the idea from Short Cuts
7/17/2007 12:24:24 PM
^ He did say he was greatly inspired by Robert Altman. Altman might be the best when it comes to the multiple story lines. I think PTA's best movie is Punch Drunk Love.[Edited on July 17, 2007 at 12:29 PM. Reason : .]
