I already called the offices but just got voicemail so I figured I would throw this up here too.

I just got it in the mail today and I didn't think I qualified for anything except loans but these 2 things showed up and I was wondering where they came from.

Don't feel like making a new thread, has anyone else's financial aid disbursement still been delayed through that SNAFU in the department i.e. still no refund/check? I can scrape by but already got homework out of the books, which I can't afford til that shit gets through.

What's your fin aid account page say? It's well past time to call up either the cashier's office, or OSFA.

If you really need books all you have to do is take proof of award to the bookstore and they will give you the books on loan until you get your financial aid and can pay them. You just take your award letter into the bookstore and they can help you. Best of luck.

Yes, I haven't gotten my subsidized Stafford loan yet. The other ones have come through, just not this one (which is the biggest).

Alright, thanks for the responses. They said there was a "software issue" with a portion of the financial aid awards and when I asked about it several times last week they kept telling me they were working on sending it to the cashier's office. It says refund for the amt ~5k, various loans and grants, on the 23rd, Thursday. Last I asked about this was on Friday and they were still working on it. If I don't get it by tomorrow I'll try that loan thing coshadix.
