This is the first year I will be commuting to campus. I got a Coliseum Deck space but I've never been up there and I'm curious how it works. Do you have an assigned spot, or is it every man for himself? Is there a spot available for everyone who was assigned a permit? I'm really just wondering how early I need to leave for my classes.

there's no spots, it's just a regular parking deck......as for if it fills up I don't know, never used it during busy times

you dont have an assigned spotim not sure if they oversell it or noti want to say that they dont, you will always be able to get a spot on the top level

of course they oversell. They don't plan on everyone that has a permit being there at the same time. Just get there like 15 to 30 minutes early the first couple days and you can judge for yourself how early you need to get there. In general, the biggest rush will be either the 9:05 or 10:15 class times on MWF and 10:15 on TH

it has never been completely full, at most I've seen during the school year there were probably 75 spaces left on the highest level and the one below it. Just more of a walk is all. You'll spend more time stuck behind people who try 6 times to fit in a space just because it's close to the stairs, and end up parking somewhere else in the deck anyway.

No assigned spots, they do oversell it. The real rush time is the 11:20 classes because it is almost filled from people in earlier classes. A few times it has been completely full (even on the highest level) and you had to drive around till you saw someone get in their car.

i've never seen it full

They definitely oversell it, since many people use the Centennial parking deck, and that deck takes a DC pass. its never full, but you'll have to put up with a car that's going to be roasting under the hot summer sun after a few hours when you have to park on the upper levels.

if you have class around 11:30 its hard to find a spot other than that its not bad

I've parked there for quite a while and never seen it completely full, even on busy days or around the 11-12 rush

I parked to the coliseum deck my last 2 years at State, if you get there between 10-12 you'll probably have to park on one of the upper decks, other than that finding parking was easy
