My Onkyo keeps turning off, so i need to replace that. Looking for something in the <=$100 range.

I'm also looking for a shelf stereo system, boombox whatever, if it plays mp3s or i can plug my ipod into it that a plus.

99% sure this isn't related, but I think i had a similar problem after i moved my receiver between houses. Turns out one of the buttons was stuck from the move and it would turn on for a few seconds and then off.

I've got a Koss Home Theater 6 or 7.1 surround system all in one that you can have for $100.

has remote, dvd player, optical input, other inputs (video and audio), etc...

region free.

plays mp3's, video cd's and all that.
