i'm just a single chemistry class away from graduation, and of course i'm not eligible for part time financial aid. i wanted to register for all online classes so my work schedule would be as open as possible. the fees are the same for 0-5 hrs so i was wondering are there any 1 hr online courses i could take. esp considering it'll be the same price and they would probably help pad my gpa since i'm dangerously close to the 2.0 i need for graduation?

Why not just take a lab?

i've already taken all the labs i need, but like i said i'm looking for online course since i can complete the course work whenever and not have to actually go to a classroom and limit the time i can work.

^I think they are only open to political science majors.

ummm... isn't there a listing of the online courses that you can look at?

I took them when I wasn't a PS major. Just emailed the PS departmenthead and asked her to let me in. She did. Of course, I was switching to a PS major (or else why would I take them) but I didn't tell her that.

I don't think a 1 hour course is going to help your GPA whatsoever at this point

yeah, a 1 hr course isn't going to do shit for your gpa if you're that close to graduatingi'd just concentrate on your other class instead

There are some PE classes that only meet for part of the semester and are fun and easy to make an A in. Try whitewater canoing, it ends in early October, or something else along those lines.

Take canoeing. I'm taking it for the fall and it only meets once a week every monday for an hour.

One more thing, if your chemistry class is on campus, it is going to be EXTRA to take an online class because distance ed is separate from on campus classes. I would just forget it if I were you and concentrate on that chem class so you might graduate.
